Description

Veniard Worm Bodies are ultra-elastic latex rubbers designed for the Squirmy Worm patterns. Squirmy Worms are used by competitor fly fishers recently as they are extremely effective when nymph fishing. Worm Body Veniard are 3 mm tubular rubbers which are completely limp yet come alive in the water. The trout and grayling love them. 20 x 145 mm lengths. 20 Worm Bodies per packet. This new material can be a little strange when you first use it, so check out these few tips to help get you started. First of all, make sure you use a large thread, anything smaller than 6/0 will possibly cut through your Squirmy Worm. Make sure you experiment before you tie with any varnish, bug bond etc. If you intend to use, some of these items may dissolve your Squirmy Worm creation. And lastly, keep away from heat as they may melt. More information? there are plenty of videos on YouTube with help and instruction. Don't let any of these hurdles put you off tying with the Squirmy Worm material, this is a seriously good fly tying material of which has helped land a huge amount of fish, in fact on some waters in the USA it's been reported this stuff has been banned.
